KidCheck v2.0 is almost here...

Well, the holidays are upon us, but we're busier than ever cooking up a new version of KidCheck. We're just about code complete and ready to start alpha (first stage) testing of the new system. There are a ton of new enhancements and features we're adding in as well as several bug fixes. Here are a few of the new things in v2.0:

Changes to Check-in
New JAVA based print engine
Improved O/S Compatibility (check-in works with Windows, Mac & Linux)
Check-in now compatible with Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE, Safari, etc...
Added New Ajax System for substantially improved performance

People Section
Added Card View support
Direct integration with your PIM including:
Microsoft Outlook Integration
Apple Mail Integration
Google Gmail Integration

Improved note management
Improved guardian & child lookup

Licensing
Replaced cookie-based License with MAC based Licensing
Retains license even after O/S reload

Check-in Notification System
Moved all notifications into a single screen
Add global & personal notification in the same location

And a TON more...

The new system does add an additional system requirement, and that is to run Java 6 on your check-in stations. Java is a free download that just takes a few minutes to load. (http://www.java.com)
