Information, Resources and Updates for KidCheck Users

Just wanted to let everyone know about a new feature that we've added to the system. If you're running multiple templates back-to-back for a given event (like Sunday AM check-in), you may find it handy to have KidCheck automatically switch templates for you. We're added a new feature called Check-in Programs to do just that.

A check-in program is simply a list of check-in templates. Within that list, you can set the time you want KidCheck to automatically switch to the next template. Once it's all setup, just run the program (rather than running an individual template)

Check-in programs are available for the KidCheck Premium and Campus editions. For more information on how to setup check-in programs, click here.

Alex, I ran into a potential bug in the Check-In Programs feature today. I have a Sunday program that is comprised of 3 templates: Sunday Morning, Sunday Morning 2nd Hour, and Sunday Night. Everything switches perfectly. However, one of my workers noticed when she checked in tonight that all the guardian locations were those listed for Sunday Morning. I checked under my own account and sure enough, that's what was listed. It was clear that the Sunday program had switched to Sunday (Sunday Night), and the child locations were correct, but the guardian locations were not. I logged out, manually switched to the Sunday Night template, and everything was correct again. So something in the program switch is keeping the guardian locations from switching even when the template does. I don't know if this is tied to being checked in as a volunteer from the first template and how that might affect the change. Both accounts we looked at were accounts of volunteers who were still checked in from the morning template.
