So, couldn't someone impersonate another parent at check-in by entering their phone # then? Also, what if they had to use the key-tag to check-out?

Interesting idea. The one thing that could be an issue is the security risk of someone impersonating another parent, creating a valid check-out receipt & then picking up a child they are not authorized to pickup.
