Security practice

Not sure if this is due to an Internet Explorer security setting or KidCheck programming. When I have a check-in session open and click close, the window that pops up (used for fast switching…Continue

Guardian account and Login account did not associate
1 Reply

There are a few members at my church that created guardian accounts and then decided to volunteer and created login accounts so they could be designated as volunteers. For some reason the system…Continue

New report: Employee/Volunteer list export

It would be useful if you could export the list of employee/volunteers regestered to your organization. Currently you can do time reports and name badges, but all I need is a simple list of who I…Continue

Hi,Has any testing been done to see if there is a performance increase by using one browser over another? We're currently using Internet Explorer (I believe we're using version 8), but are…Continue

Erin Padgett replied to Keith Hauenstein's discussion 'Multiple volunteer check-in'
We expect our volunteers to come in early; however, there are the few that do not come in early enough thereby adding to the lines.  This feature would be awesome to have and would expedite the check in process not only for the volunteers…

No, it didn't really impact check in times because as you said most of the volunteers checked in early. It's more of a user convienence thing because now multiple individuals from the same household have to login vice one person logging in…

Brad Hennessy replied to Keith Hauenstein's discussion 'Multiple volunteer check-in'
Hi Keith,  This question comes up often as there certainly are lots of families where both parents (and sometimes even the kids) volunteer.  KidCheck is intentionally designed to be centered around 1 primary guardian for security reasons,…

I agree! We have many husbands and wives who both serve as volunteers.  This feature would be very nice.

Becky Schneider replied to Keith Hauenstein's discussion 'Add ability to create login accounts from administrator login'
Yes, I agree that it would be nice to be able to create a Login Account for people. Because in order to register people as Volunteers they need to have a login account (which i understand) but if people forget to create a login account it delays the…

Alex Smith replied to Keith Hauenstein's discussion 'Guardian account and Login account did not associate'
There's actually an easy fix. We just need to know who's account was re-created & we can merge them back. The way that KidCheck does the Guardian & Login account merge when the user creates them separately is that it looks for…

I'd like to see a report feature like this also. It would allow church or business leadership to plan for growth or make adjustments where needed based on trend data.

Ok, see if this works for you guys. From the people tab, pull up a guardian's account. Click on the "Edit" link in their account detail panel. Then, in the edit screen, if they don't have a login, you can send them a login…

This is an interesting suggestion & I'll take a look at it. One thing that we definitely won't do is allow you to create a login account on behalf of a parent. You can imagine the liability if your organization (church) creates a…

Erin Padgett replied to Keith Hauenstein's discussion 'Add ability to create login accounts from administrator login'
This would be a great upgrade to the system. As a church, we like the ability to go the extra mile and complete a log-in for them as needed. In the suggested log-in confirmation email, it would be helpful to also provide a link that would take the…

You've got it correct. To check a child out when using cascading check-ins, the check-in station needs to be running the check-in template you want them checked out of. WHen running not in cascading check-in mode, then a child can be checked…

I read the help on cascading check-ins. I'm assuming then if the first hour template were still up the child would be able to check out as normal, but since we switched to the second hour template the system no longers see's the children…

Actually, this is expected behavior with cascading check-ins enabled. Each template operates independently of each other. I'll take a look at the roster report & make sure its filtering properly with cascading check-ins enabled. This may…
