One thing that we do at our church is just use the check-in locations as grades. So each child checks into 2nd grade or 3rd grade, etc. Even if you wanted to include a room number you could do that (3rd grade - Room 102, for example). Then we can…

I would like this option also....we run into problems all the time in our old system with parents who have held their kids back or skipped them ahead, and home schoolers when we only go by age.

Grades?

Hello!I was wondering if anybody else would find it useful to be able to have a field for grade which the parent puts in when they enter the child.I know this opens up a ball of wax for later when the child promotes but even if I had to do it manually, it would be worth it. I just emailed all of our fifth graders and accidentally included some fourth graders too. (Because of using age instead of grade.)I know I could really use this feature!Thanks,DaveSee More

The only thing you do not want to do is to have KidCheck open and then do a hard shutoff (hold down the power button to turn off) as that will corrupt the cookie that holds your license and you will have to re-license the computer in your settings…
