One option might be to have the parents add each other as authorized guardians and then when the parent comes to pick the children up who doesn't have a receipt you could just scan the child's bar code and make sure that parent is listed as an autho…

One thing that we do at our church is just use the check-in locations as grades. So each child checks into 2nd grade or 3rd grade, etc. Even if you wanted to include a room number you could do that (3rd grade - Room 102, for example). Then we can so…

I like the all-in-one systems for check-in stations so you still get a large screen, you don't have to mess with a bunch of wires, yet you can get them for almost as cheap as a netbook. For example: http://www.buy.com/prod/emachines-ez1601-01-all-

There is not a way to increase the font, however you can zoom in your browser to make everything a little bit bigger. Just press Ctrl and + at the same time and it will zoom in to make everything bigger.

My guess is you are using Internet Explorer 6. KidCheck is only compatible with IE7 or higher. Just go to microsoft.com/ie and download the latest version of Internet Explorer.

You need to download the latest version of Java. Just go to java.com and click on the "Free Java Download" link.

The reason we word it the way we do is because we want everyone that has an email address to use an email address. That way not only do you then receive their email address, but so does KidCheck so we can send out reminders to parents to update thei…

That's a really good idea Keith. I will pass that on to the developers to see if they can add that feature. I don't foresee this being too difficult to add, but I don't write the code so I always assume it's easy to add ;). Thanks for making suggest…

You actually do not have to have an email address to create a login account. Instead of entering an email address just create a username that they will remember. We ask for email just to make it easier for people to remember their usernames.

Nothing has actually changed with this feature so I would check with the parent to make sure their child has something entered in the medical/allergy field. You might also check your settings to make sure it didn't get accidentally turned off (setti…

You actually have to add them as a volunteer as an administrator. There is no way for the parent to do this from their account. The one thing you need to make sure is that the volunteer needs to have created a login account (username and password).…

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "not cutting off the tops of the tags". It might be easier on this one for you to call in to our support line at (208) 639-1620 to help troubleshoot this.

Hi Lorenzo, thanks for taking the time to do a demo today. I'm pretty sure I answered this then but just in case anyone else was wondering yes, the Dymo Labelwriters and the Symbol bar code scanners will work great on a Mac. Firefox is the recommend…

The only thing you do not want to do is to have KidCheck open and then do a hard shutoff (hold down the power button to turn off) as that will corrupt the cookie that holds your license and you will have to re-license the computer in your settings t…

In order to become volunteer or administrator you need to make sure that person has created a login account and not just a guardian account. The difference is with a guardian account, they would have just entered their information at your facility.…

If you could be any member of the Justice League, who would you be & why?
Superman. Any other superhero pales in comparison. He's stronger than any superhero, bulletproof, x-ray vision, laser eyes, and can fly. No one else comes close.
