You can really use it for any church event. Just create a new template for your check-in locations & you're off... If you have premium edition, you can also do event registration ahead of time to get an idea of how many kids to expect.
Hi,
I’m new to KidCheck as well. Out of curiosity based on your question I created an event and discovered it’s geared towards the children that are registered in the system and not the guardians. Might be something that they could add in the future since they do capture guardian information (but then you’d also have a lot of adults out there that don’t have kidcheck accounts because they don’t have children).
Steps to create an event:
1) Log in using an administrator account
2) If you have the premium KidCheck edition you’ll see an “Event Registration” tab right after the "Check-in" tab
3) Click: New event and enter the details about your event
4) After you save the event, the KidCheck system will generate a weblink for you to email to your guardians.
5) They follow the link and can select which Children will be attending the event.
6) There are reports based on those that pre-register for the event also (name badges, mailing labels, attendance list)
Keep in mind that KidCheck is a children's check-in system. We have an event registration feature for children's events, but this isn't designed to be an event management system.
