Shutdown?

Hello!

I was wondering if it would hurt anything to have our computers shutdown automatically after church, i.e. would it hurt any KidCheck processes or cookies?

We want to be able to just leave after church without having to wait until the last person has checked out.

The only thing you do not want to do is to have KidCheck open and then do a hard shutoff (hold down the power button to turn off) as that will corrupt the cookie that holds your license and you will have to re-license the computer in your settings tab.

However, this will not even be an issue for KidCheck 2.0, which we are launching on January 18, as it will no longer use cookies to store your license. Instead it will use your MAC address so even if you do a hard shutoff your license will be fine.
