We use a manned checkin station and printing errors are actually quite common. Going through a multiple checkin/checkout skews reports, causes lines at the checkin station, and other such logistical issues.
Having the ability to turn on/off reprinting would be a feature that could allow users to choose what is and what is not security related when setting up their individual configuration.
