Parent Announcement and Notification Feature

Did you know you have an easy-to-use parent messaging capability associated with check-in?  KidCheck provides an announcement/notification option which allows you to place messages right on the check-in screen for all your parents to see.  Need to remind them of the upcoming holiday event or BBQ?  Want to ask them to help out with a certain function or update them on a room, time or teacher change? 

This notification capability can be used for individual parent messages as well. You have the option to choose a single guardian to direct the message to.  Remind a parent to bring in more diapers, to bring home artwork or sign a permission slip.  

Whatever the need may be, this provides another great communication tool. When they check-in they’ll clearly see your message prominently displayed at the top of the screen.

To implement: 

• Go to the “Check-in Tab” and then choose “Guardian Check-in Notifications”
• Click on “New Guardian Information” from top right and create your notification
• You determine which of your templates to associate it with; all guardians or a specific one; the importance level; and start and end dates (or ongoing)
• Once created you’ll be able to see and manage all your notifications
