KidCheck on an iPad
It would be great to be able use KidCheck with an iPad or iPhone. With switching to Adobe Air, will it be compatible with iOS?

Unfortunately, the iPad/iPhone does not support Adobe Air or Java or have any USB ports for printers/scanners. It is very limited in the technology that is included in it. We have been able to get KidCheck to work on an iPad by using a remote desktop app and remoting in to a separate computer. It takes some setting up but it is possible (see picture below).
We have actually found that using any touchscreen interface can really slow down the check-in process. Especially if you need to add someone new. Typing on a touchscreen is significantly slower.
