Information, Resources and Updates for KidCheck Users

Hi, Our church recently started implementing the guardian location box, but ran in to the situation where some guardians are volunteering 1st service and then attending worship the next. However, the guardian location drop down assumes you will only be there for one service and will be in the same location. Can an option be added to allow them to choose two different locations based on 1st/2nd service?

Keith,
I don't know what size church you have, but mine is around 500 in regular attendance. We run two services on Sunday mornings and have the exact same situation you do. I put in every single class our adults might be in each hour and completed the line with worship the alternate hour. For example: "9:00 Co-Ed 2A (L. Bell) Rm 302 & 10:30 Worship" In other words, this person is in the Co-Ed class that meets in room 302 at 9:00 taught by Len Bell and then goes to worship at 10:30. I also have a line for Adult Worship only. Even if my adults are volunteering, they make this choice one time. Obviously if they're volunteering, they'll have that second box where they choose which of the child's locations they're volunteering in. I've uploaded a screen shot of my guardian locations for Sunday morning.

Thanks Chris. That's one huge list! But I suppose to identify where guardians are it's a necesssary evil.
The good thing is that they only have to choose it once for each template and the system remembers where they are. Plus it's one more way to alert visitors that your church offers something just for them.
