Information, Resources and Updates for KidCheck Users

Our Middle and High School students check in themselves.  They retrieve their name tag and actually wear them.  This has been a process but now they see the value in it.  Since they check in themselves, we do not have a need for the Guardian labels.  Is there a way to turn this function off.  We are wasting about 150 labels each weekend.

There isn't a way to have the system print out a name badge for a child (student) without a guardian name tag as it breaks the security model with the security codes etc. What we have done for student ministries is created 2 different reports for self check-in.

Child Name Badges

This report created a lamination-ready name badge for a child (student) that includes their name, photo & a self check-in barcode. with this, a student can use the self check-in barcode to check in & the system doesn't print anything. The laminated name badge can be clipped to clothing or worn with a lanyard. This way you're not printing anything and can speed up the check-in process significantly for students.

Self Check-in List

The self check-in list provides the same self check-in barcode as the name badge, but is available as a printed report. IF you don't want to hand out name badges, you can simply print this off & each student can scan in their self check-in barcode next to their name when they check-in. This also does not print out anything, but still sends text messages to mom & dad, etc.

Thank you
