Check in not opening

I've been trying to open the check in station for the past hour and it won't open.
This is what it says in the box that comes up
Starting Check-in
KidCheck is starting Check-in
Validating java Version
Retrieving Check-in License
Loading Check-in Template
Starting Check-in

This box stays up for ten minitues and then I eventually close it, reboot and try again with no luck.

This box has never popped up before and I've never had trouble starting check-in.

Also, when I click on "Add or Edit This Computer's License"  the box comes up but freezes.
