Information, Resources and Updates for KidCheck Users

Are there any ways we can set up the kids in the system when their parents just never get round to setting it up so week after week we still have to complete paper sign in to accommodate these families.

Also is there a quick registration for visitors that won't lock them into the system permanently.

this has been the biggest downside to this system, parents just don't bother to go online to complete the registration.

sunday mornings don't work, there is no time!

Right from the check-in screen they can click on the "I do not have a KidCheck account" link and it only asks for basic info like name, phone number, etc. It usually takes less than a minute to add someone that way.
We gave our parents a couple of weeks and then we stopped receiving any child who did not have his Kid Check name tag. This created a backlog of parents on the first Sunday, but then the problem was solved.

Alternatively, you might try having parents provide information on paper and having a volunteer set up the accounts during the week.
I have done the setups myself for some kids and then invited the parents to complete the registration from their home computers (we sent them an invite to login right from Kidcheck).  They have trouble getting logged in though!  It seems like for every step forward we take 2 back :(
What I ended up doing is, I had the new parents/visitors fill out a form that asked for all the info that they would fill out online, and later in the week, I inputted it for them.  It has worked.
