Information, Resources and Updates for KidCheck Users
Hi.
I'm a newbie, so forgive my ignorance. I am wondering if there is a way we can customize the fields in our accounts. Right now we have "first name," "last name," "birthday," "gender," and "allergy & medical info." The last field, "allergy & medical info" is an open field, however it would benefit us to have several more specific fields, such as "insurance carrier," "insurance policy and group number," "physician's name," "physicians phone number," "known medical conditions," "medications," and a box indicating consent to treat a minor in an emergency.
These specific fields are included on our current paper forms, and having them electronically would be a huge help to our team. So, if that is possible, can you please point me in the right direction so that I can get everything off the ground.
Thanks!
Rick

(you're going to want signed docs to hand to a health care provider)
Keep in mind that the medical field under "My Kids" can be printed on the actual check-in sticker and you really don't want that publicly visible. But in case of emergency, you can just take the child in for treatment immediately & then even print off all the consent docs from the notes in the people section through KidCheck once you're at the hospital.

As for the suggestion about manually entering the information on the "notes" section of the "People" tab, the page is blank (without any people listed), and I cannot even see my own children listed there (we just started and only have two-three families with accounts at this time). What am I doing wrong?

Remember KidCheck is a global system and with 500,000 people in it, the only way we know who belongs in your database is by who has actually checked into your church.
