i just had a KidCheck meeeting with a handful of my volunteers. Here is what i used:
KidCheck Meeting 5.27.10
What KidCheck is
1. Strong security system
2. Easy to use
3. Minimal hardware
4. Affordable
KidCheck Policy:
Let’s talk ‘How To…’
• Help someone through the check-in process
• Authorize or Unauthorize a Guardian
• Someone different is picking up the child
• Deal with a lost guardian receipt
Some of KidCheck’s features:
KidCheck has many features to benefit both the organization’s volunteers & parents. Here are some of those benefits:
• Stronger security to protect the family
• Attendance keeping
• MIA keeping – KidCheck can notify volunteers when children have been missing for a predetermined number of weeks.
• KidCheck can send a text directly to a parent to notify them of their child becoming ill.
• When parents know the information pertains to their child they will give the most accurate information.
• Child’s allergies are listed on their nametag
• KidCheck is ‘server based’ meaning it does not bog down computer’s speed or store information on that computer. The information is bank security encrypted.
“How does KidCheck benefit me as a volunteer?”
See Handouts [print out your version of KidCheck's features & the 'Reports' tab. This will show the vol's how it benefits them as well.
